Coram Construction Solutions Inc. is a member of the Ram-Land Group of companies - a forward-thinking fully integrated real estate organization.
Established in 1993, Coram continues a 75+ year family tradition of providing professional services and quality workmanship in the construction of residential, commercial and institutional developments.
The origins of Coram date back to 1946. That’s when Albert Melchior Sr. - patriarch of the Melchior family - started his first construction company building single-family homes. As the company grew, so did the trajectory of their projects - from apartment and high-rise residential construction to commercial and institutional projects.
Coram Construction Solutions Inc. is now in the hands of the next generation of the Melchior family who were mentored in all aspects of the business by their father. This legacy of experience helps them appreciate the subtleties and challenges encountered during a project’s life cycle.
Over the years, Coram has developed the systems needed to control construction budgets and schedules to ensure cost-effective and timely production. Our team of experienced construction and accounting managers take a hands-on approach regarding all aspects of a project.
Due to Coram’s longevity and reputation for excellence, we have established long-term relationships with prominent financiers, legal firms, accountants, design consultants, tradespeople and inspection firms to ensure that appropriate and professional support is present throughout the project life cycle. These extensive corporate and personal relationships are what help us deliver projects on time and on budget for our clients.
Coram is immensely proud to celebrate 25 years of valued membership in the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD).
Our involvement with BILD has been an integral part of our professional growth and success. Over that time, we've witnessed transformations, embraced innovation, and collectively evolved with an ever changing landscape while consistently upholding the highest standards of our profession.

Our Executive Team
Randy J. Melchior
President
For the past 40 years, Randy Melchior has been active in all facets of the real estate and development industry. Initially apprenticing on site, Randy developed an appreciation for the construction process. This construction experience has proven invaluable as Randy practices his specialty of site acquisition and development taking the raw land, obtaining all municipal requirements so as to move the development through to pre-construction. An example of the co-mingling of construction and development skills is evidenced in the conversion/retrofit of an existing commercial office building to a medical building.
Matthew J. Melchior, B.A., G.D.P.A
Vice President
Matthew Melchior enthusiastically joined the family business in 1992 after spending time in various divisions of the Ram-Land Organization. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) followed by a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University. Matthew is Vice President and directs his energies to all financing requirement of the Group. He is also part of the new business development team.
Rick De Vincenzo, B.A, B.Comm, C.A.
V.P. - Finance
Rick obtained his CA designation in the province of Ontario in 1979. After spending 4 years with a multinational accounting firm, Rick left to join a local Toronto based accounting firm as a partner, specializing in construction and real estate development until 2000. He then resigned as a partner and joined a family business until 2009. Rick joined the Ram-Land Group of Companies in 2012 and heads up all aspects of administration, taxation and accounting related duties.
S. (Bob) Cvijovic, P. Eng.
V. P. - Construction
Bob graduated with a degree in engineering degree from the University of Belgrade, Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia) in 1970. He participated in the design and engineering of various projects in Western Europe before immigrating to Canada in 1975. Bob obtained his Certificate of Professional Engineer from the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (APEO) in 1976. Since then, he has been directly involved in the construction of 2,500+ residential apartment units - from co-ops through to luxury condominiums. In addition to residential construction, Bob has participated in the construction of more than 1,000,000 sq. ft. of commercial/institutional developments including office towers, churches, schools and long-term care facilities. Bob has been a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario since 1976. Bob has worked within the Ram-Land Group since joining in 1986.
